Roger Hernandez is the Ministerial and Evangelism Director for the Southern Union Conference and has served in the ministry for over 20 years. Some of his passions have included church plants, small group and youth ministries, and evangelistic work. Roger is a motivational speaker who has been part of events at the division, union, and conference levels. He has presented at multiple events including camp meetings, leadership conventions, and evangelistic crusades and training events. He has also been a speaker at SEEDS (the church-planting conference run by the North American Division Evangelism Institute) in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Born in Cuba, and fully bilingual, Pr Hernandez has had the chance to be part of events in both English and Spanish. He is the author of five books, the most recent being Epic Fail, published in 2011. Roger’s family includes his wife, Kathy, and four children Yessenia, Deisy, Vanessa and Jonathan, two of who are biological and two foster.

Kathy Hernandez is a daughter of God (the best father in the world) and wife of Pr Roger Hernandez, Southern Union Ministerial and Evangelism Director. Mother of 4 children aged 15, 17, 25 and 26. She has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Youth Ministry. Her life’s calling has been to nurture her children and anyone else who has needed the love of a family and to work alongside her husband in ministry. Kathy has been working with youth for over 21 years. She especially enjoys working with teen girls. Currently Kathy is the Coordinator for the Ministerial and Evangelism Department at the Southern Union Conference. "I love working for the Lord and feel honored every time He chooses to use me. I am nothing without my God."
